We settled on englewood, a sleept little coastal town.
More specifically, we moved to Cape Haze, a penninsula carving out Charlotte Harbor.
We are exactly 5 miles from the coast, as the crow flies, but by road 8 miles to Manasota
Key and 4 great beaches.

Large shed
I turned one bedroom into a computer lab with multiple
computers. This is where I work and teach.
evenings are for music
I bought an 85 inch TV. The front room has become
my theater room. Susi has her own 70 inch TV in the family room.

I tried raising veggies but instead buy them from the farmers market
I broght some orchid cactus from PA and they are
in the front and back yards.

Suzi cleared out a safe room for the hurricane while
i sat behing the hurricane proof bay windows and watched as if it
was sci-fi. We made out a lot better than others but still had
25K after insurance.
I sat behind our hurricane proof front window and watch as Hurricane Ian destroyed the area. We were lucky, only about 25K in damages, and
insurance paid about half of that.
